The kit comes with:
- Heavy Duty Gate Receiver when gate is in closed position
- 2 x Wheels
- 1 x Gate Stopper when gate is in open position
- 7m of Galvanized Steel track ($20 per metre for extra track)
- Custom Made roller guides with 60mm Roller heights
- Includes dynabolts and plugs as required
Roller Height: With the wheels and track, the gate will sit 70mm off the concrete to the underside of the gate.
The receiver serves two purposes. It guides the gate into the final posts closed position. But also as it has a top on the bracket, this stops the gate being lifted off tracks, and opened by thieves. So make sure the gate receiver is mounted close to the gate top.
The receiver can be mounted on the end of posts, so the gate hits the inside of your post with receiver on it. Or if you have setup your gate so that it slides behind thr post then you'll need to retro a few more holes in bracket to mount on its side. Each job is different.
Wheels will need to be recessed in your gate frame. Standard kit comes with 2. It's very hard to get 3 wheels working on a slider, unless your track pad is laser level. If your Gates wider than 5m ask for a 3rd wheel free. We do not cut the holes in the underside of gate frame as all jobs are different. Usually the small section of the wheel is recessed in the framing and just use Tek screws to secure.
Mount the wheels around 10 to 15% in from each end of gate. However depending on gate width and how laser level your pad is, that may need to change.
We don't offer instructions on installation of that kit as all jobs are different. There is plenty of YouTube videos on like from different companies that all show different ways.
The Price includes any freight when buying one of our sliding gates at the same time.
