We are an aluminium manufacturer, and we service the fencing and gate industry for the past 10 years. Our powder coated products have a 10-year powder coat guarantee.
We FIRST created these aluminium planters to service commercial clients for shops and offices and commercial locations using our aluminium.
I have now created a flat pack, DIY product where we cut all the pieces to size, and you spend your labour to assemble them. This saves you so much money and your final creation will be a NON-RUST aluminium planter that will gives you a modern and architectural style to your entrance, pool area or just a balcony that wants a high-end look for a decent price.
THESE ARE NOT PVC LIKE OTHERS ONLINE – THEY ARE POWDER COATED ALUMINIUM
Aluminium planters are made to encase and show off your priced pants. You sit you pots side the planter. These are not for filling up with soil. This is not a herb garden or vegie patch it’s a potted garden display feature.
As we DO NOT weld them, I have used exclusive channels we make for the Do it Yourself (DIY) industry where all the screws are inside channels then covered with matching aluminium covers to make the Planter a premium fit. The only screw you will see are the 4 needed to hold down our aluminium corner caps.
Aluminium Colours: You can have White, Dark & Light Grey, Satin Black, Cream, Paperbark or Merbau
Custom Colour Configuration: If you want to mix and match, no worries just let us know when you order. For example, you may want black corners posts then the rest in White.
Special Note about the Floor: You can’t see the floor once your pots go in. For this reason, we may supply the floor in a different colour to your chosen planter. If its important to have internal floor the same colour, then leave a note to seller.
Our sizes
The massive array of sizes I have listed in this variation listing are typical sizes. Other width and depths can be done if you follow that 100mm size increase or decrease. We can do other heights if needed and if you want that then purchase the next height up and advise in notes the height you need.
THIS IS DIY AND YOU WILL NEED A DRILL WITH A TEC DRIVER TO ASSEMBLE. YOU WILL NEED A TAPE MEASURE AND YOUR TIME. THIS HAS TO BE ASSEMBLED WITH THE SCREWS WE PROVIDE. ALLOW YOURSELF 2 TO 3 HOURS.
When your pots sit on the slat floor, there will be gaps between floor slats for water to come through. Slat bases are not screwed down
How to work out what size?
1) First would be to measure the pot height and width you’re going to sit inside the planter, then determine the size
2) Below are typical industry standard pot sizes that may help, especially if you are buying the Aluminium Planter before getting your plants.
- 200mm pot is 200w x 190mm high and 4.5litres
- 300mm pot is 300w x 270mm high and 13.5 litres
- 400mm pot is 400w x 320mm high and 27 litres
So an example if you were going to use 400mm pots and just one then your planter you buy may only need to have 400mm inside diametre so that could be a 568w x 568d x 350h based on the options we have here.
