65mm Wide Slats in Vertical Configuration

Our vertical aluminium louvre gates and screens deliver a sleek architectural finish with privacy, airflow and strength. Supplied cut to size and flat packed for DIY assembly, they are made from heavy-duty powder-coated aluminium for long-lasting performance with minimal maintenance.

Post Options

You can install your louvre gates or screens between aluminium posts, brick piers, or your own timber or steel posts.

We stock 76x76mm and 100x100mm aluminium posts in Black, White, Dark Grey or Merbau alloy finish.

Posts are $40 per metre cut to size, including the post cap.

Heavy Duty Construction

All slats are made from a 65mm high x 16mm thick aluminium profile with 2 internal reinforcing ribs for added strength. The powder-coated finish gives you a durable, low-maintenance product with no ongoing painting required.

Our louvre slat holders are a rigid aluminium extrusion with laser-cut holes to hold the slats at a fixed angle. The extrusion is 50mm wide and forms the top and bottom rail.

Once installed, the slats leave a 10mm airflow gap between each blade.

Each gate or screen includes a 50x50mm box frame around the entire panel, creating a strong, rigid structure with a clean, modern finish.

Structural Notes

• Gates wider than 900mm are supplied with a DIY diagonal rear brace
• Gates taller than 1400mm include a third centre louvre track
• Slat holders and box frames are available only in Black, Dark Grey or White

Sizing Information

Louvre gate widths do not always divide evenly, so there are fixed width increments to work with. For example, a width such as 1540mm may suit exactly, with widths typically adjusting in increments of around 75.8mm.

If you have a specific opening, we can usually extend the frame equally on both sides to suit your space.

The height you provide is the finished size of the gate or screen. We allow internally for the frame.

Please allow a final size tolerance of approximately 3–6mm.

Hardware Allowances

• Allow 25mm clearance for our 180° pivot hinges
• Allow 10mm clearance for locks or latches

DIY Supply Only

We are a small family-run Brisbane warehouse business and supply DIY only. We do not offer home installation or site visits.

Every order is cut to your required sizes, supplied with screws, and packed flat for easy transport.

All you need at home is a tek screw drill and a bit of time.

Simple DIY Assembly Instructions

1. Build the 50x50 box frame using the supplied internal angles
2. Connect the top and bottom rails using the first slat through the laser-cut holes
3. Remove protective plastic only from the section of slat being inserted
4. Level the first slat and secure from the rear with a tek screw
5. Continue installing the remaining slats one by one
6. Once complete, gently align the opposite side channel into all slats
7. Install the finished panel into position and screw from behind where possible for a cleaner look

We allow approximately 4mm overall clearance for each slat to help make assembly easier.

What You Should Know Before Ordering

• A $100 deposit per custom panel is required
• Orders are cut every Tuesday and Thursday
• Protective film will remain on the product for you to remove after assembly
• Please allow 3–6mm variation in final sizes
• Some heights may need to follow specific sizing to avoid visible gaps or open channel holes

We use backload trucks for many deliveries. For country towns along the route, we can often deliver as the truck passes through. Some deliveries may occur after hours.
